Oct. 30: Return to the USA
Hello Everyone,
We got back this afternoon to Atlanta after an uneventful flight. Fortunately, we all 3 got business class, so it was particularly restful for E. Although she felt really bad at the Tuesday night concert in Inverness, she did a magnificient job–as did all the musicians at the best concert of the trip. Everyone sang and played in fine form. Elizabeth is feeling better now, and has already started working on her dance concert which takes place a week from today. Busy, busy.
I plan to return to Dallas either tomorrow or Saturday depending on flight availability. Thanks for your prayer support during the trip. It was an excellent one, and the only physical complaint I have is right now as I sneeze my head off here at David’s house: I think I am allergic to Lucy the cat!!
I’ll try to give a more detailed impression of the trip on Pop’s page in a few days.

Postscript: Elizabeth’s concert was a great success, including a solo dance she performed in Susan’s honor. After getting back to Dallas I caught the cold everyone else had–so Puddleglum at least was feeling better. But, after a few doses of Zicam it went away. In summary it was a terrific trip and I am grateful to Wade Williams, the noble leader of Kilfane, for inviting and including me in such a gracious way. It was a great tonic for my grief.
