Yesterday I finally entered the digital camera world through the purchase of a Sony sub-compact digital camera (”digicam” to you experts out there). After extensive research on the web I settled on the Sony DSC-P200 mainly because it packed 7.2 MP (megapixels) into a very small pocket sized space with good reviews on image quality, usability, etc. As it turned out Dell had the lowest price, and I even had a coupon from Dell, so that made the deal even more enticing. It seemed this would be a great choice for when I and a certain someone head for the middle of the Pacific in January. I ordered it on Friday and bang, it was here on Monday with no shipping charge.

The scene above is one of the first photos on the new camera taken of my backyard looking toward where Kim and Roxanne live. (Hello, Roxanne…)

The scene below is of the empty swing that yearns for certain grandchildren to come over and use it. (Hello Susanna, Lydia and Luke.)

So far I’m pleased with the result.
