Happy New Year…..Terry??
The night before we left for Hawaii, we stayed in Granbury Texas, where we celebrated New Year’s at Granbury Live (a Christian-based musical show which we highly recommend). We were pleasantly surprised to be seated next to the famous NFL quarterback and commentator Terry Bradshaw and his wife. Here is Kev posing with them.
OK, it wasn’t really Terry Brandshaw. His name is Russell and his wife is Sharon. They were a wonderful Christian couple who shared their faith with us as we did with them. But you have to admit that the resemblence is striking. Russ told us that when he goes to restaurants the wait staff often makes a big fuss over him. On one occasion he was unable to convince them that he wasn’t Bradshaw. Finally, to keep from disappointing them, he paid the bill with cash (instead of credit card giving away his identity) and signed the bill, “Regards, Terry.” It made their day.
